Describe the work you need. Receive a considered offer.

A service intent describes a service need — scope, location, timing, budget — and invites providers to respond with offers. It is not a booking.

Who this is for

The problem

Services can't be browsed like products. A buyer needs to describe what they want; a provider needs structured scope to respond with an accurate offer. Without a structured format, both sides waste time on misaligned expectations.

Audience

Anyone needing a specific service — photography, cleaning, transport, repairs, and more — who wants considered offers from providers rather than choosing from a fixed menu.

What it does

Structured scope. Informed offers.

A service intent is collected through a four-stage form: your need, location and timing, budget and contact, and a final review. Advanced inputs — multi-day sessions, groups, specialist requirements — appear contextually where relevant.

AI may prompt for missing details: which Tuesday, the exact location, required deliverables. Once submitted, providers can respond. A counteroffer is presented as changed terms — it is never auto-accepted.

Example: shop photography

Provider response2-hour scope, Tuesday 14:00
LocationLagos, on-site
Offer amount₦45,000

Key facts

  • ·A submitted request ≠ confirmed booking. Requests invite offers.
  • ·An accepted offer may create a pending booking. Payment is separate.
  • ·A counteroffer must be recognisable as changed terms — not auto-accepted.

Controls and outcomes

What happens at each stage

Submit request

A structured request invites providers to respond with offers. It is not a booking or a commitment.

Receive clarification

AI may ask for missing details — exact date, location, deliverables — before the request is presented to providers.

Receive multiple offers

Multiple providers may respond to the same request. You choose which, if any, to accept.

Review counteroffers

If a provider changes terms, the counteroffer is presented as changed terms. It requires your explicit acceptance.

Edit before acceptance

While awaiting offers, edits may be possible. Once an offer is accepted, changes require provider agreement.

Request expiry

If no provider responds, the intent may expire. You can resubmit with adjusted scope or budget.
