The problem
Service businesses manage bookings through DMs, calls and shared calendars that don't communicate with each other. Buyers don't know if a slot is real or confirmed, and sellers can't collect structured intake information before accepting.

Service records

Availability windows
Define recurring availability — e.g. Mon–Fri 9 am–5 pm. Blocked slots are shown as unavailable.
Intake questions
Required fields a buyer must complete before submitting a booking request.
Pending booking state
A submitted request creates a pending booking. Provider must accept before it is confirmed.
Distinct from payment
Provider acceptance confirms the booking slot. Payment confirmation is a separate step.

Frequently asked questions
Is a pending booking the same as a confirmed one?
No. Pending means the buyer's request has been received and the slot is tentatively held — the provider has not yet accepted. Confirmed means the provider has accepted the request. Payment confirmation is a separate step that follows.
Can services have fixed prices?
Some services can have a defined fixed price. Others may be quote-required, where the price is agreed between buyer and provider before confirmation. The service record indicates which model applies.
What about cancellations?
Cancellation policies require approved business rules specific to your account and plan. Flur does not apply a default cancellation policy. Check your account configuration for the rules that apply to your services.
Can a buyer book without answering intake questions?
No. Intake questions marked as required block submission until answered. The booking form will not submit with unanswered required questions.
Can the same slot be double-booked?
No. Once a pending booking holds a slot, that slot is marked unavailable to other buyers. If the provider declines, the slot is released.
