Trust & security
What we control. What you control.
Flur Finance is built around explicit permissions, visible review points, and scoped access. Here is what that means in practice.
What Flur Finance controls
User permissions and review points.
Permission scoping
Shared access is always scoped. A shared user on a Shared Wallet can only do what the owner explicitly permits — not more. No implicit full-account access is granted.
Explicit approval steps
Spending requests require deliberate approval from the owner or admin before money moves. Pending requests are shown separately and do not reduce balances until approved.
Contribution vs balance tracking
In Group and Family Wallets, lifetime contributions are tracked separately from current balance. Spending does not retroactively change contribution progress.
Access revocation
Owners can revoke shared access at any time. Revocation affects future actions — not past completed transactions.
Account information access
What AIS access means — and doesn't mean.
What AIS accesses
- ·Supported account balances (with your permission)
- ·Transaction history from connected accounts
- ·Account metadata needed for Money DNA
What AIS does not do
- ·AIS does not authorise payments from connected accounts
- ·AIS does not give Flur control over your external accounts
- ·AIS access ≠ payment authority — these are separate
When AIS is used
- ·Only with your explicit consent
- ·To populate Money DNA with connected account data
- ·To assist with source selection in Split Pay
What you control
Consent, permissions, revocation.
Consent for external access
External account connection via AIS requires your explicit consent. You choose which accounts to connect and can disconnect at any time.
Shared access permissions
You define who can access your wallet or account, what actions they are permitted, and any spending caps. You can adjust or revoke at any time.
Spending approvals
As an owner or admin, you decide whether to approve or decline spending requests. Nothing is automatically approved.
Plan rules
Money Plan rules are reviewed by you before they run. You can pause or cancel an approved plan at any time.
Transparency about status
Clearly labelled — what is available and what is coming.
Features that are not yet available are clearly labelled throughout Flur Finance. You will see:
