Help supported AI experiences understand what you sell.

Structured catalogue information makes eligible products and services understandable in supported AI-assisted buying experiences. This is about data readiness, not installing a chatbot.

The problem

Buyers increasingly use AI to search for products.

When someone asks an AI-assisted experience to suggest a product, that system needs to understand what is available — its name, description, price, variants, and stock. Without structured, clear catalogue information, your products may not appear in relevant results, not because of ranking, but because the data is not readable.

What AI Discoverability does

  • +Makes catalogue data readable and usable by supported discovery workflows
  • +Surfaces clear product names, descriptions, variants, pricing, and availability
  • +Flags missing or stale records as readiness issues before they cause problems
  • +Works with Shopify-connected catalogues for consistent, up-to-date data

What it does not do

  • -Promise ranking or placement in any AI system
  • -Guarantee inclusion in third-party AI assistants
  • -Provide instant indexing once data is updated
  • -Work independently of accurate, complete catalogue records

Readiness

Missing or stale data is a readiness issue.

When catalogue records are incomplete or out of date, AI Discoverability treats that as a data readiness problem, not a cosmetic one. Stale pricing or missing stock levels can cause an AI experience to present incorrect information to buyers. Flur surfaces these as amber warnings so you can address them before they affect customer interactions.

FAQ

Common questions

Does this get my products recommended on ChatGPT or other AI assistants?

We cannot promise placement or ranking in any third-party AI system. AI Discoverability prepares your catalogue data so that supported discovery workflows can read it accurately. Whether any external AI surfaces your product depends entirely on that platform's own rules, which Flur does not control.

How do I prepare my catalogue for AI Discoverability?

Start with complete, accurate product records: clear names, detailed descriptions, correct variant labels, up-to-date pricing, and accurate stock levels. Avoid vague titles or placeholder descriptions. Structured, specific data is more useful than long unformatted text.

I use Shopify — does connecting my store help?

Connecting Shopify syncs your existing product catalogue into Flur, which means your data starts structured from day one. This reduces manual entry and keeps information consistent. It does not guarantee discovery, but it removes a common barrier.

What counts as stale catalogue data?

Stale data is catalogue information that no longer reflects reality: a price that changed weeks ago, a product marked in-stock that has sold out, or a description that references a discontinued variant. Flur flags records that have not been updated recently as a readiness issue, not a cosmetic problem.
