How Flur works
One relationship with money, end to end.
Flur connects four linked tasks — Understand → Plan → Find → Complete — so context from one step informs the next. Your financial picture shapes your plan. Your plan shapes what offers are relevant. Your completed purchase updates your picture.
Ada's journey through Flur
A single connected scenario — illustrative demo data only.
AIS + Money DNA — Understand your full picture
₦847,200 at Zenith Bank, ₦234,500 at GTBank — with your permission. Account information services (AIS) bring supported external balances and transaction records into Flur so the system has what it needs to reason about your money.
Money DNA explains the broader pattern: why ₦47k less is available this month despite higher income. It traces the gap to three recurring transfers you approved in different sessions — making the invisible visible.
Information access is separate from payment authority. Connecting an account tells Flur what is there; it does not authorise any movement.
Money Plan — Turn intention into a reviewed rule
₦10,000 saved every Friday into your Event Savings Wallet. Before anything runs, Flur presents the structured rule: source, destination, amount, timing, and the condition under which it skips. You review it — you approve it.
Material changes require fresh review. You can pause or cancel a Money Plan rule at any time. Nothing runs on the basis of a draft or a description alone.
A Money Plan rule is not a standing order sent to a bank directly — it is a structured arrangement managed inside Flur that triggers within your defined conditions.
Product & Service Intent — Keep your need active
Size 12 outfit below ₦60,000 saved as Product Intent. Hair appointment after 5pm, before Saturday 14 June saved as Service Intent. Both stay active after the chat ends — you do not need to describe your need again when a match becomes available.
A saved intent is not a purchase authorisation. It retains the shape of the need — item, variant, price condition, timing preference — so the Opportunity Engine has something specific to match against.
You decide whether to act when a match surfaces. Nothing is bought on the basis of a saved intent alone.
Opportunity Engine + Pricing Engine — Find the match
A merchant restocks. The Opportunity Engine identifies that an active Product Intent — size 12 outfit, under ₦60,000 — now has a live supply match. The alert is surfaced to the right buyer.
The Pricing Engine applies the eligible offer: ₦55,000 as a group price for three buyers meeting the criteria. The reason is shown alongside the number — not just what the price is, but why it applies.
An identified match and a shown price are not a completed purchase. You review the terms and approve before anything progresses.
Group Commerce + Split Pay — Coordinate and pay
3-person group order: ₦165,000 total at ₦55,000 per share. Ada's share: ₦20,000 from Flur wallet + ₦35,000 from connected account = ₦55,000. Each person's share and each funding source are visible separately.
Group Commerce coordinates the session, proposals and confirmations. Split Pay handles the funding logic for a single buyer using multiple sources — these are distinct capabilities with different scopes.
A group split request does not authorise debiting each participant. Each person reviews and confirms their share before payment progresses.
Transactions + loop close — Record and update
Ada's ₦55,000 purchase is recorded with its funding legs nested — ₦20,000 wallet and ₦35,000 account — not double-counted as ₦75,000. The transaction record is accurate to what actually moved.
The merchant sees ₦110,000 confirmed from the two settled buyers and ₦55,000 pending from the third. Collected and outstanding are shown separately.
Money DNA updates. The new purchase, its source breakdown, and the change in available balance all feed back into the understanding layer — closing the loop and starting the next cycle with fresh context.
You don't need to start from the beginning
Each part of Flur can be used on its own. The connected loop is available when you want it.
